What are good business to business customer appreciation gifts?
craftygirl asked:
Last year we sent out candy jars with our logo on them and filled with peppermint candy. I really do not want to stay with the same theme but I am stumped for another low cost gift idea for our business customers. Any ideas?

What kind of business?
Do you ship them out or do you hand it to them?
Are they male or female or generally family ?
How much money are you talking?
How many do you need to have?
I am not sure what you are talking low cost? Personally I think totebags are good. Here are some wholesale if you think $2.95 each wouldn’t be bad. They have some lovely feminine ones
or you could go with the backpack type bags and you could get them for around $2.19 and have your logo on them.
Or you could do cell phone pouches. You can even have some printed with your logo on.
Calendars are always good or perhaps, a mouse pad, day planners or office related. Again, I don’t know what your business is so perhaps you could gear something towards it.

Candy jars seem to be a cute idea, but the most important thing when choosing a customer appreciation gift is to make sure it is in fact “a gift.” Handing out something like promotional pens would not be beneficial because you don’t want to appear cheap to your customers.
The first thing you need to do is determine how many people you will be buying for and the maximum amount of money you have to spend. This way you can figure out a general per piece price, and start from there.
I do have to agree that you can get some very nice bags for affordable prices.
What about a picture frame?
Or a picture album?
Those are always thoughtful gifts. You can also always call a company and tell them your situation and see what they recommend. People who specialize in corporate gifts and promotional items can usually spout off a list of like 25 suggestions in under a minute, simply because they’ve had customers who have had the same issue.
