I’ve done alot of research on starting a business. I am a college sophmore-havent picked a major yet but i’ll probably go with business and photography. My interests are business, photography, web design, photoshop, traveling and languages (spanish and italian) When people say base your business ideas on you passions–mine are a little too complicated for starting a small business. A small business to begin with of course…

I find that one of the most challenging things to starting a business is coming up with an idea with the kind of business you want to have. This is not easy for me.

What are some things/ideas/places you could recommend to me for starting a business? One of my friends tells me to identify a local need within your community and do some research on it and go from there? What are your thoughts about starting an online business? Can I have a business that has 0% investment or do I have to initially put some money in?

Ideas/thoughts/insight on how I can come up with ideas for a small business would be greatly appreciated. Thank you everyone in advance for your shared knowledge.
