ZeeZee asked: As a small business, I’m finally getting around to looking at business insurance. God forbid I should get sued, but that would be the only reason I would get insurance at this point.
If I get sued (assuming I did nothing wrong that would terminate coverage), what are my responsibilities with regard to paying legal fees? What role will the insurance company play or what control will they have in the litigation process?

rockability asked: I am a college student and I currently work at a grocery store. Thinking about the way life is, I realized that having your own business may be challenging but rewarding.
So I want to know, how easy is it to open a small business, and how much money will I need? Also, I am not sure what is a good business to open? I have always dreamt of having a coffee/book/music shop, but I am not sure how easy/expensive/successful that would be.
Please throw some ideas at me.

rlc_60504 asked:
If a small business hires either independent contractors or another business to perform work for them, what steps should that business take to make sure that the completed product is legally owned by the business and not the entities or individual employed to create that product? Pointing me to resources on this topic would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Lonesome Polecat asked: Big business produces a product, creates job and creates wealth. Big government creates large inefficient agencies, gobbles up wealth, creates waste and is corrupt. Big business needs to be watched and when found corrupt the corrupt need to go to jail. Small business is just as corrupt as big business. It just doesn’t make the national news.
So why is big business demonized by the left but big government loved? Our founding fathers didn’t trust government at all so why does the left love it?

detailjay asked:
I own a small business and I keep getting relocated within the U.S. Because of this I have to change my business phone number and I am sure I am losing sales not to mention ticking off my current clients with an ever changing phone number. Can someone give me some advice as to how I should set up my business number so I don’t have to change it all the time preferably without an 800 number? Thank you for your time in advance!

marc p asked: I am purchasing a small business that has been in existence for 1 and a half years. I am using an SBA loan for the purchase.
Referring to the future, how do they determine what my business line of credit will be? My companies net profits are 160k. (After debt payment it is around 110k). Formulas are welcome!
