    look around and find people who have successful businesses and emulate them.
    or, read Inc. magazine or business magazines in general.
    also, go to the library and check out businesses in areas you have an affinity for.

    Check out your local newspaper for ideas. What you need to do is find a need and then develop a business that fills it. People are always looking to save time, save money, make money and have peace of mind. What problems do you see that you can solve for a fee??? Once you have that business idea, know your customers and know your competition. You don’t want to copy a business but learn from its strengths and weaknesses and make your business even better.
